NextStep provides an excellent demonstration of the competitive advantages smaller, swifter businesses now have relative to their bigger and always more bureaucratic competitors.
NextStep Federal Credit Union kicked off its Summer 2025 promotional schedule in style with Maggie’s Clan at Ryan’s Wake in Troy, New York, followed just 3 days later with sponsorship of Kid’s in Free Night at Valley Cats, followed the very next day with tabling at Troy’s River Fest.
All events discovered, negotiated, contracted, and managed by POSTMKTG. Tents and tchotchkes abounded!

Another big win for our favorite small credit union. NextStep FCU, loving its scrappy image, is leaning into low-fi fun media. A new TikTok campaign features a fun-loving couple contemplating their new empty nest opportunities. Perhaps a new car? Maybe something sexier?
Small brands can now take advantage of their smallness and run circles, creatively, around their plodding competitors. While large brands fret and fear “crazy media” like TikTok, NextStep Federal Credit Union, with the counsel of POSTMKTG, has jumped right in with a branding and promotions campaign that not only leads with TikTok as its primary media, but is creatively inspired by TikTok.
After 5 months work, and with gifts lined up and ready to walk out the door, School Systems Federal Credit Union will unveil its new brand at tonight’s annual member meeting in Troy, New York. We could not be more excited.
