College Experience Students on Campus

CE Fall 2025 Enrollment Campaign

POSTMKTG developed a Reddit-centric campaign for The College Experience, a two-year program at Russell Sage College that helps students with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn to live independently. The agency needed to alert out-of-state residents that enrollment for the Fall 2026 semester was approaching the deadline.

The College Experience

Parents of young adults with developmental disabilities worry about one thing – will their sons or daughters ever be able to live independently? An impending exit from high school brings into strong relief the gap between remedial skills and those necessary to live in an apartment, pay bills, do laundry, work and find community. The College Experience fills that gap. And as no one tells the story better than the students experiencing it. POSTMKTG coordinated with Living Resources to create a marketing platform that makes it easy for staff and students to tell the remarkable, compelling and true stories of student success.

The College Experience Dorm Tour

Dorm Life at The College Experience

The College Experience is a 2-year program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Dorm life is central to the educational experience. Students cook in the kitchens with (staff assisting as needed). Household chores are done weekly, at least! Dorms are a short walk to the bus stop, where our students get on board for a quick trip to the Russell Sage campus.

The College Experience – an experience for parents too

The College Experience is an experience not just for its students, who get to live the college life, begin careers and gain the skills necessary to live independently, but also, and maybe more so, for the parents of students. In a series of unscripted testimonials, POSTMKTG helped TCE parents tell their stories. Stories of pride. Stories of surprise. Stories of wonder at the independent people their previously very dependent children have become.
