Feeding NYS celebrates the rescue of 63 million lbs. of food

Under the POSTMKTG creative banner “Don’t Chuck It! Truck It!”, Feeding New York State announced at the close of 2025 the collection of a record 63 million pounds of food.

Feeding NYS has been a leading advocate of New York’s 2022 food donation and food scraps recycling law. The law requires large generators of excess food – organizations that generate more than 2 tons of wasted food and food scraps per week – to comply with the law. Included are restaurants, grocery stores, hotels & motels, colleges & universities, malls, and event centers, among other generators.

POSTMKTG has assisted FNYS with a range of public relations, media support, and promotional materials, including videos, postcards, flyers, posters, buttons, and other items, that not only explain the program to large food producers but also promote the good neighbor efforts by producers to comply with the law.
