‘Not There’ Campaign

According to the New York Times, the sudden disappearance of women from billboards, window displays and magazines throughout Manhattan last weekend (March 7 and 8, 2015) was designed to drive visits to a new No Ceilings report on the status of women around the world.

Funded by the Clinton Foundation, No Ceilings seems a worthy cause for sure.

But while we’re big, big fans of Droga5, the agency that developed this stunt, we’re not so sure this campaign gets the right message across. Is it, “What would our world be like if skinny pretty girls could not be exploited by the advertising industry?”
